Our motivation for coach training comes from our strong belief that coaching is transformational and effective. You may be asking, “What are the distinctives of CCE training?”

  • Environment. One of the most prominent distinctives is our on-campus workshop training that is included in our core trainings. Why has CCE made this a key-feature? We want to know each of our trainees and clients and establish a long-term relationship. In addition, we want to create an environment where trainees can experience community and develop friendships with other coaches. We believe face-to-face interactive training enhances coach training and develops a warmth and energy to the teleclasses because we know each other.
  • Flexibility. We have been intentional on pricing our training so that people can afford travel costs in their training. If you research the costs of comparable high-quality trainings, you will find that you will often pay less to train with us, even after you factor in the cost of travel. Plus, our We Fly To You program allows our trainers to travel to your own city or organization if you can gather a group of ten or more trainees for the workshops.
  • Methodology. A third distinctive is the training itself. CCE training methodology is based on our underlying philosophy of learning, which has as its goal the personal and professional transformation of the learner. Transformation in the learning context means radical and lasting change in beliefs, attitudes, knowledge, and behavior. CCE training facilitates this kind of transformation through four key components: information, application, conversation, and observation©.
  • ICF Competencies. A fifth distinctive is the in-depth sequential study of each International Coach Federation (ICF) core coaching competency and its application to coaching conversations—from the basic level to the PCC level of coaching.
  • Comprehensive. We like to think of our training as significantly inclusive. Our core training includes an extensive course on ethics, a separate and focused course on the development of your coaching business, and a coach presentation skills practicum. Here you have an opportunity to develop skills in facilitating an interview conversation, the option of practicing and receiving feedback on your speaking skills, and advanced understanding on knowing your audience. We spend an entire six weeks on the dynamic study by Patrick Williams and Diane Menendez, Mind-set is Causative. Our training also includes coaching practicums, observed coaching, mentor-coach training, and training on two assessments. Plus more.
