Thank you for your visiting the Center for Coaching Excellence website. We would enjoy answering any questions and together, explore your training needs. We welcome your call or fill out a personal consultation request and we will get back to you within 24 hours.
If you are interested in having coach training in your vicinity, please call for more details.

Training Overview

CCE has a proven track record and has been in existence since 2007. Our sole focus is developing highly competent coaches. Our mentor coach training approach limits classes to eight-ten trainees and allows us to invest in every trainee through individualized guidance in their personal and professional development, coaching style, and coaching mastery.

Training Approach

We have found coaching is served well with a combination of in-person and virtual classroom training. In-person Essential Training provides a rich experience of observation, coaching demonstrations, group interaction, collaborative peer exercises, and dialogue that strengthens comprehension, application, and synthesis. This enhances the virtual classroom interaction and learning experience that follows the workshop.

We recognize that, for some, travel may still be impossible. Therefore, we have designed an Essential Training no-travel virtual format with many of the in-person dynamics and is offered twice during the calendar year.

Customized Content – All of our training content has been meticulously developed by CCE, using what we believe to be the highest quality research and resources available. Our process allows us to customize our training to best match the needs of our participants.

The Essential Training workbook has been thoughtfully designed and formatted as a resource that can be used for years to come.

Certification – Essential Training is your first step toward certification. Our three inclusive and comprehensive programs meet the necessary number of coach-specific training hours and mentor coaching requirements for each level of the International Coach Federation (ICF) certifications. Complete information is found on the CCE Certification page or you can request a free consultation.

    Training Approach

Our commitment to you is to support you in being a highly skilled and effective coach.

Skilled coaching will continue to become crucial to your success and to the success of organizations. Monique Valor, Executive Coach and Professor at EDHEC Business School says it well:

If your job involves leading others, the implications are clear: the most important thing you can do each day is to help your team members experience progress at meaningful work.
To do so, you must understand what drives each person, help build connections between each person’s work and the organization’s mission and strategic objectives, provide timely feedback, and help each person learn and grow on an ongoing basis. Regular communication around development — having coaching conversations — is essential. In fact, according to recent research, the single most important managerial competency that separates highly effective managers from average ones is coaching.

    Training Structure

    • Phase 1: Customizing your coach-specific training plan
