Heather Verstraete

Heather is an accomplished educator and professional coach with almost 25 years in education and 15 years in coaching. She has a unique and authentic ability to facilitate an environment for others to learn, develop, and achieve personal excellence.

In education, Heather has collaborated with school district departments, provided training, facilitated district partnerships and program development, worked with students as a classroom teacher, and served as a peer coach.

She works with educators to:

  • Guide students toward academic advancement by focusing on strengths, targeting areas of need, and developing individual talents and abilities
  • Create classroom environments that help students navigate changing dynamics
  • Develop a tailored approach to each student in areas of self-awareness, motivation, critical thinking, creativity, problem solving, and organizational skills

Heather holds a BA in Elementary Education and Teaching from St. Catherine University and an MA in Educational Leadership from Concordia University in St. Paul, and an Ed.D. in Leadership from St. Thomas in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

She serves on the executive board of My Sister’s Keeper in Atlanta, Georgia, a foundation dedicated to equipping and empowering a diverse community of women in their educational pursuits and goals, acquisition of life skills, and personal and professional development.
