Mary is President of the Center for Coaching Excellence (CCE), a training organization focusing on developing highly competent coaches through a mentor-training approach and a training model that equips leaders and coaches to contribute at their professional and personal best, influencing transformational change in the lives of those they lead and coach.

For two decades CCE has has been refining the art of conversational leadership—how to bring honor, connection, inspiration, and trust into a person’s realm of influence, ultimately defining and creating a culture that perpetuates these values.

With more than 30 years’ experience in leadership development, training, and consulting, I’ve consistently seen the critical need and importance of quantifiably competent and influential leaders.

In 2007, Mary cofounded the Center for Coaching Excellence (CCE), an organization that provides Center for Credentialing & Education and International Coach Federation-approved coach training and workshops throughout the United States. She continues to expand coaching into diverse industries by developing customized training used in companies such as ExxonMobil, M Health Fairview, and MJ Senior Housing.

In addition to her work at CCE, she is a leadership consultant and coach who works with clients in the St. Paul-Minneapolis metro area and around the U.S.

Mary is the author of Essential Coach Training©, Advanced Coach Training©, LifeMap for Focused Living©, and Conversation Matters!©. She created and developed the Convergence Leadership Process©, used and valued by hundreds of leaders.

She earned a B.S. degree in Organizational Administration from the University of Northwestern– St. Paul, Minnesota. She is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and holds additional certifications as a Level 1 Gallup CliftonStrengths® Coach, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Instrument (MBTI) Administrator, Brand Tool Box® Brand Alignment Facilitator, Certified ScrumMaster and Scrum Product Owner, Leadership Agility® 360 Coach, and Conversational Intelligence® Coach with a concentration in the neuroscience of communication.
