Vision

Our vision as an organization is to be a leader in establishing coaching as an effective and valuable people-development profession by training coaches, equipping organizational leaders with coaching skills, establishing coaching cultures, customizing coach training curriculum, assembling expert coach trainers, keynote speakers and consultants, and employing the finest coaching resources available for exceptional and lasting impact.

History

The idea for CCE started as a series of informal conversations among coach trainers in the fall of 2006. As they talked, they recognized the need for an umbrella organization to gather and mobilize the best in coaching resources in order to raise the level of excellence in the field. That dialog led to a partnership between Mary Verstraete and Roger Erdvig which resulted in the official formation of this organization in early 2007.

In the summer of 2009, Roger stepped down as president and Mary stepped in to lead the next phase of development for CCE. As the new CEO, Mary assembled a Vision & Strategic Team which has accelerated the growth of CCE into new services and markets. The vision for CCE continues to widen, but our moorings remain solidly planted in our values which you can access from the link on your left.
